Welcome to our first ever edition of Learn and Earn! Each month, we trade questions for coffee (or tea, or whatever you like from Starbucks) and get valuable insights from practices just like yours. We’re only a month-plus into the year, but we wanted to know how much our respondents’ marketing goals and plans had changed since January 1. How’s it going so far??
The final questions were a gut check. We wanted to know how people were feeling one month in about their ability to meet the goals they had set, and if they had needed to change or alter their goals yet.
We also asked how they were feeling about their ability to achieve their goals. So, we asked them to rate each on a scale from 1 to 5, 1 being the least confident and 5 being the most.
Finally, we asked how much the pandemic is expected to impact practice goals this year on a scale from 1-5, with 1 being “not much” and 5 being “greatly.”
What Does It Mean?
We may only be a month in, but if you’ve found yourself changing or altering your marketing goals for the new year, you’re not alone. Almost 40% of our respondents have had to do the same, and just over half don’t feel confident in their trajectory. Most people also haven’t started the marketing strategies they intend to implement this year either.
