3 Ways to Track Success Within the MyAdvice Success Center

Infographic showing three ways to track success in the MyAdvice Success Center, including goal setting, tracking performance, and projecting growth, with charts and statistics displayed.

New My Growth capabilities in the MyAdvice Success Center help you define what success looks like, understand how performance is changing, and see the estimated value your growth system is creating.

More data doesn’t automatically give you more clarity.

You can know how many leads you captured, how many reviews you received, how much website traffic you generated, and dozens of other metrics. But those numbers become far more useful when you can answer three questions:

What are we working toward? Are we moving in the right direction? What value is our system creating along the way?

New capabilities in your Growth Dashboard are designed to help you answer exactly those questions. With Set Goals, Date Ranges and Comparisons, and My Growth Value, the MyAdvice Success Center gives you more context around your performance—and a clearer picture of where to focus next.

1. Set Goals: Give Your Performance a Destination

Set Goals helps you define what success looks like for your business instead of simply watching numbers change.

A metric without a target tells you what happened. A metric with a target tells you whether you’re making the progress you intended.

With Set Goals, you can choose targets for supported metrics across My Growth, including lead performance, reviews, local listings, and social media. You can also choose whether you want to measure progress monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Your KPI cards then use clear status indicators to show whether you’ve exceeded your target, are on track, are at risk, or are behind.

The bigger opportunity isn’t to set a goal for every number you can find. Start with the metrics you can actually influence.

For example, you might set goals around:

  • Increasing your lead conversion rate
  • Reducing your response time to new leads
  • Improving your review response rate
  • Increasing your average review rating
  • Lowering your lead acquisition cost
  • Increasing social engagement

A useful rule is simple: If you can’t identify an action that would move the number, reconsider whether it needs to be one of your primary goals. The goal isn’t to create another dashboard full of targets. It’s to identify a handful of outcomes that deserve your attention.

Start with three to five meaningful goals. Then use the Success Center to keep those priorities visible as your business moves forward.

2. Date Ranges and Comparisons: Understand What Changed

Date Ranges and Comparisons help you understand whether website performance is improving or declining by putting today’s numbers next to the right historical context.

Imagine seeing that your website generated 1,000 visits. Is that good?

On its own, you don’t have enough information to know.

If you generated 700 visits during a comparable previous period, you’re seeing one story. If you generated 1,300, you’re seeing another. And if your business experiences seasonal demand, comparing this month with last month may tell you something very different from comparing it with the same time last year.

That’s why context matters.

In Visitor Analytics, you can now choose a date range and compare your website performance against a previous period, the same period last year, or a custom period. That comparison carries across supported Visitor Analytics data, including website performance snapshots, traffic and channel insights, paid search data, and landing-page performance.

You don’t need to become an analytics expert to benefit from it. Start with the business question you’re trying to answer:

  • Did the changes we made improve performance? Compare against the period before the changes.
  • Is this seasonal? Look at the same period last year when enough history is available.
  • How did a particular campaign perform? Use a custom comparison window.

The point isn’t to spend more time analyzing reports. It’s to get enough context to make a better decision about what comes next.

3. My Growth Value: Make the Work Behind Growth More Visible

My Growth Value helps you see the estimated business value being created by activity captured in the Success Center.

This is where the bigger picture starts to come together.

Some of the most valuable work happening inside your growth system isn’t always obvious. Automation can handle repetitive work without someone on your team having to check off a task. Leads can be captured while your staff is busy—or after they’ve gone home. Reviews can be responded to, and social content can keep moving without another manual assignment landing on someone’s desk.

That invisible work matters because profitable growth isn’t only about generating more revenue. It’s also about reducing the effort and overhead required to create it.

My Growth Value, available in Growth Insights, makes more of that impact visible through three estimates:

  1. Hours Saved estimates the time associated with work completed through the Success Center.
  2. $ Saved estimates the value of that time.
  3. Potential Revenue estimates the potential value associated with leads captured during the selected period.

The numbers update based on the date range you select, allowing you to see how estimated value accumulates over time.

These estimates provide useful business context. Potential Revenue, for example, is not revenue already collected, and My Growth Value is separate from the ROI metrics you’ll also find within My Growth.

The important shift is from asking “What did my marketing do?” to asking “What work did my system take off my team’s plate, what opportunities did it help capture, and what could that mean for my business?”

That’s a much more useful conversation.

And it’s why the Success Center is built as more than a collection of marketing tools. It connects marketing, automation, conversion, and performance insights so you can grow while reducing the manual work your team has to do. That same connected-system approach is reflected across the current MyAdvice platform.

Three Different Views. One Clearer Picture of Growth.

Together, these capabilities make performance reporting clearer and help you decide where to focus next.

Think about them as three different lenses:

Capability Question it helps answer
Set Goals What are we working toward?
Date Ranges & Comparisons Are we moving in the right direction?
My Growth Value What estimated value is our system creating?

Each serves a different purpose.

Set Goals isn’t the same as comparing periods. Comparisons aren’t ROI. My Growth Value isn’t revenue sitting in your bank account. Keeping those distinctions clear makes each capability more useful.

Used together, however, they can change how you approach your performance data.

Instead of logging in to check numbers, you can log in with a purpose: see where you stand against your goals, understand what’s changed, identify gaps that need attention, and see more of the value your system creates behind the scenes.

That’s the real opportunity behind these updates.

Turn Your Performance Data Into Your Next Move

Your Success Center should help you understand your performance data quickly enough to act on it.

The goal isn’t more reporting. It’s better decisions.

Set a target. Watch your progress. Compare the right periods. Understand the value your system is creating. Then use what you learn to decide where your attention can make the biggest impact.

Log in to your MyAdvice Success Center and explore the new My Growth capabilities. Start by setting three to five meaningful goals, review your Visitor Analytics comparisons, and check your My Growth Value in Growth Insights.

Your data is already telling you what happened. Now you have more context to understand what it means and what to do next.
